We get to see Colin and Charlie’s in a much deeper level and watch them grow both together and as individuals.I loved that we got to see the inner battle Charlie had and the constant pressure that she put herself under to become the perfect person she thought Colin needed. But you also got to see the determination she had not to let anyone tear them apart, not even Colin when he ‘thought it was for the best’.Colin made my heart swell in this book, especially when he showed Charlie to what extent he would go to protect her. I had tears in my eyes and my heart was in my throat while I waited for the outcome to what happened. It was the ultimate act of love and it was both heart-wrenching and swoon-worthy.As the pages and story unravel it only gets better and I was utterly disappointed when I finished reading this book.

I have fallen in love with these two characters and could quite happily carry on reading how their story unfolds forever.Questions are answered but new ones arise as we are left again waiting for the third and final book in this fantastic debut series but a promising author.It had everything you could possibly want in a book. Love, humour, a plot with lots of suspense, and an intense, HOT passion that only increases the more you read.Ms. Miller, you still have me captivated and excited with your phenomenal writing and I cannot wait to get more Charlie and Colin as well as many more future stories. I was completely glued to the pages until I knew everything would be okay. This man would die for his girl and not think twice about it.My favorite addition to this book was the Secret Service Agent assigned to Charlie. His wit and charm fit in perfectly with the story.

I cannot wait to read more about the handsome Kyle. His and Charlie’s banter kept me in stitches.The ending of this book left my mind whirling with that the next book could possibly be about. I have my ideas and I cannot wait to get my hands on it. For some reason I feel there is one bad guy out there that they have not seen the last of.

I just finished reading her first two books and cannot seem to catch my breath.

I read and adored her first book, Midnight, and instantly dived into Midnight Sky, which is just Ms. Miller’s second time at bat - and she has another home run that is smacked right out of the park. I enjoyed her plot development, story line, characters, and writing style.

Her writing is breathtaking, insightful, enthralling, and molten lava hot. This installment had even more drama and steam than the first, and thankfully, there was a lot of both in each. Suspense, romance, drama, smoldering sensuality, intrigue, witty banter – it was all tasty deliciousness to this old cougar. I hope book three through infinity are in the works, I don’t think I could ever tire of this couple. The first book was way better than this one.

I was expecting so much more especially with the way things ended in the first one. I am so disappointed. The first chapter alone, I thought Charlie would make Colin work to get back her trust - but seriously? All it took was for him to hold her hand and look into her eyes and all is forgiven? Ever heard of the word 'grovel? ' you're supposed to be angry, raging mad and you forgave him right away? And enough with the 'he's so gorgeous, love his ass' The first book was way better than this one.

This book was just as great as the first. After Colin explains what Charlie found and overheard she is willing to give him a second chance. One he is not going to waste. He realizes he needs to tell Charlie how he feels and what she means to her. He finally tells her that he loves her. This book has more twists and turns. Their stalker is stepping up his game, but is he after Colin, Charlie, or This is the second book in this series.

Throw in this person who is after one or both of them and there is only so much one person can handle. A lot of things happen during this book and to the characters during the book. Charlie is an amazingly strong woman. Colin wants to ensure that nothing bad ever happens to Charlie.

Colin sometimes holds on to tight to Charlie because he is so afraid to lose her. He has lived through the loss of someone he loved already and he doesn't want to have to do it again. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

This book is smut and I shouldn't expect much but there should be something other than the sex is all I'm saying. A little less between the sheets and a little more character growth without the sex was.greatly.

Add in the fact that Charlie attracts danger, and the fact that with the campaign they are never in the same city for more then a few days and you have a fast pace amazing story with great characters who are so real and so charming, that you just want them to be together.I grabbed book two quickly after finishing book one because I was desperate to find out of these two can move past what has happened to them, or if the drama of a stalker will cause them to fold their relationship before it even really has a chance.

This story was fast past, with dark suspenseful plot twists that left me as a reader flipping pages faster and faster. I gobbled this book up in about 12 hours. It was the best way to spend a sick day in bed with the flu.Now I have to patiently await the next book in this series to find out what happens. I'm desperate to know the answers to so many question! Colin and Charlie work out the kinks in their relationship, and the sex scenes are to die for! There is a good balance between the political aspect as well as the personal aspect. Colin does everything in his power to protect his love as well as continue with the run of President. Could it be possible that there is too much stress and it will pull them apart again? Or are they willing to fight for what they believe is true love, no matter what steps in their way?

This is a great read and I look forward to reading the next in line! Midnight Sky was a excellent continuation of Colin and Charlie's story.

I fell in love with the couple in Midnight, and I could not wait for book 2. I give this book 5 stars, and probably will be rereading the entire series again when it is completed.As we read through Midnight Sky we get to experience the power of love, fear, sadness, loss, the emotions were endless but perfectly entwined to make this book amazing. Charlie's past catches up with her by a secret stalker who has been following her for years. As the stalker gets closer, Colin goes into protective mode and does everything in his possible way to protect Charlie. He even goes as far as to take a bullet for her.As Charlie's past breaks her down, Colin's only way to fix her is to push her away. We think that's it or this is how we will transition into book 3 but hold your horses. That's all I am going to say because I don't want to give to much away.

Some of the things that happened had me creeped out let alone Charlie.Despite the obstacles in Charlie and Colin’s lives, their love for one another was ever present!
