FaceRig is a Animation & Modeling, Video Production program that enables anyone with a webcam to digitally embody awesome characters. It was developed and published by Holotech Studios and was released on July 7, 2015.
Holotech Studios aims also to contribute to the field of animation and performance capture research, while creating something truly unique and memorable on both desktops and mobiles. Its maiden product is FaceRig.FaceRig began as an evenings and weekends project for us; we were wishing that there was more we could do with the characters we inhabit when playing games. Most of the time we use them for a while, mostly just to kick some butt, then we finish the games and abandon the characters sooner or later. We’ve created FaceRig so that you can let your imagination run wild.FaceRig can be used to make videos, make comic books, gifs, create 2D or 3D avatars, broadcast, stream etc. Fun is the key here!It’s also an open platform so that everybody can make their own characters, backgrounds or props and import them into FaceRig.
